Rain Tree - Suar

Medium Soft Wood

Rain Tree originates from a part of tropical America where there is a pronounced dry climate. It is a medium-soft wood used primarily for interior furnishings, and is prized for it’s lavish grains & texture.

Mahogany - Khaya

Mahogany is a hardwood that is undeniably classic. This sturdy and stable hardwood has long been used to make some of the finest furnitures in the world. When properly cut and finished, it is suitable for both wet & dry use.

Teak - Jati

A genuine Malaysian teak is hard to come by. Genuine Malaysian teak is prized for its opulent golden hue, and is of a superior quality than it’s regional counterparts. Known for it’s strength & density, it is traditionally used for building ships & houses. With the right treatment, it is suitable for both indoor & outdoor use.

Merbau

Hard Wood

Merbau, a true creation of time & nature, is the third hardest wood in Malaysia. It is a popular timber for construction in the colonial-era. One may still admire the intricate Merbau parquet flooring, in some of the surviving colonial mansions. Prized for its deep burgundy tones. It is a wood that is both refined & subtly grained.

Cengal Emas

The black gold of the rainforest. Cengal is the sultan of hardwoods in the Malaysian timber industry. Found only in Peninsular Malaysia, Cengal is a slow growing tree that yields the densest timber in the country. It is prized for its longevity, and is an investment that will last generations.

Finishing- Signature

SIGNATURE

Coated with 3 coats of wood sealer, 2 coats of lacquer, &1 coat of syncoat, our signature finish is suitable for most interiors. It gives the wood a subtle water repellent property. Coating with light coats, it ensures that the original colour & natural texture of the wood is maintained.
Finishing - Oil

OIL

Conditioned with mineral or organic oils. The oil finish is suitable for outdoor & kitchen use, and is relatively low in maintenance for these uses; or to achieve a true matte and organic look.

Base - Trapez

TRAPEZ

The trapezoidal base is a wooden panel base, with tapered edges. Taper angle & thickness may be adjusted . Recommended uses include pedestals for a rectangular table &desk front panel. It’s a style suitable for a modern home or an art deco interior.
Base - Canyon

CANYON

Canyon is an elongated cylindrical wood panel base, that can be cut straight or at an angle. The flexibility of its’s angle & the fluidity of it’s shape are ideal for a flowing design. Use a combination of one or more of these bases in various thickness & angles to create a sculptural table.

Inverted

The Scallop, also a wooden panel base, may be set upright or inverted. In the upright position, a plate can be balanced on its crescent-shaped tip. Inverted it serves as a unique crescent base. Curvature and thickness can be adjusted to all uses

Base - Gemini

GEMINI

The Gemini is a modern interpretation of the Neo-Grec style, popular in the Regency era of the 19th century. The two interconnected cylinders can be customised in diameter from 2” to 7”. Ideal for recreating a modern- neoclassical piece, in a modern Regency interior.
Base - Pearl

PEARL

Also inspired by the Neoclassical style in the Regency era, Pearl takes a more feminine approach to the interpretation of a modern Regency interior. The diameter of the string of pearls can taper from large to small or vice versa. Available in a variety of heights & diameters from 2” to 7”, it can be used alone as a base for a small round pedestal table or in multiple units for a rectangular or oblong table.

BAGUETTE

The Baguette, also available in diameters from 2” to 7, is a cylindrical table base with a rounded edge on the bottom. A fun option for a pop decor or pair it with a live edge wooden top for an urban jungle interior.
Base - Tailor

TAILOR

Shaped like a tailor’s pin. This base references both pop & Mid-Century aesthetics. A fun addition to a minimalist or mid- century style home.
Base - Fu

FU

The Fu table base is oriental in design. It is a square column that tapers off towards the bottom. It can be adjusted & customised in different angles and is a beautiful pairing with a live edge table.
Base - Oar

OAR

Shaped like an oar, the Oar table base is a beautiful base pairing to an oblong table. A classic mid-century style form with a contemporary approach.
Base - Ballerina

BALLERINA

Ballerina is a tip-toe table base, with a rounded tip, that can be customised in a variety of diameters & angles. Also a popular option for mid-century modern furnishings.
Base - Lilly Pad

LILLY PAD

Inspired by the work of legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The Lilly Pad resembles the dendriform columns he designed for the Johnson Wax headquarters. On its own it only supports the lighter table tops, plant a forest of these Lilly Pads, to support a heavier load & to create a truly unique masterpiece.
